Alberta Ferrretti presented her new Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti Spring/Summer 2013 collection in New York, 12th September 2012. Alberta said: "For the next season I wanted to combine the masculine and the feminine in a totally new way. Two opposite words but always more united in the contemporary wardrobe. This new balance creates a strong, current and feminine image". For this reason she chose the Oak Room of the Plaza Hotel as the venue of the show. An unusual venue for a catwalk where she managed to re-create the atmosphere of an early '900 private member club , a perfect background for this new femininity.

In February 2012 Aeffe S.p.A. announced the licensing agreement with Cutler and Gross for the production and distribution of the new Alberta Ferretti eyewear collection. The collection debuted for the first time in Milan during the fashion week appearing in the Alberta Ferretti Autumn/Winter 2012 fashion show. The collection is comprised by six sunglass models which reflect the contemporary femininity and elegance that characterized the Alberta Ferretti world. The design isinspired by the handmade decorations that come from the motives and linear shapes of the ready to wear collection. The collection is available from July 2012 in the Alberta Ferretti’s official stores.

Alberta Ferretti presented her third bridal collection Alberta Ferretti Forever and chooses Asia Argento as the face of the twelve dresses of the collection to tell the tradition and the absolute charm of the total white. “I’ve thought of Asia as the perfect face of the bridal dresses because she’s a special woman and not a simple girl. She represents nowadays’ women with her personality: a determined interpreter of the different ways of living the femininity in the latest years. Asia can be an independent but also a sentimental woman, she can make unusual choices, she can enhance a tradition and she can create and reinvent an imaginary” states Alberta Ferretti. Asia Argento has been shot by Pierpaolo Ferrari in the San Paolo Converso church in Milan. She modeled twelve characthers through twelve styles of wedding dresses whose names evoke the colour white in its different hues: the mystery of Ghiaccio (Ice), the romantic sensuality of Gardenia (Gardenia), the sweet spirituality of Aria (Air), the cosy firmness of Avorio (Ivory), the attraction of Luce (Light), the lightness of Piuma (Feather), the elegance of Magnolia (Magnolia), the innocence of Neve (Snow), the delicate allure of Vaniglia (Vanilla), the preciousness of Perla (Pearl), the purity of Colomba (Dove) and the dream of Nuvola (Cloud). The dresses express the absolute charm of the white, a colour with different meanings: purity, seduction and the dream of each woman to fulfil her love story on a day that she will remember forever.
