ALBERTA FERRETTI WILL PRESENT IN MILAN THE PRE FALL 2012 COLLECTION AND “ALBERTA FERRETTI LIMITED EDITION” COLLECTION

We would like to inform you that on Friday 13th of January 2012, in Milan, Alberta Ferretti will present a double fashion show which will feature the pre fall 2012 collection as well as a capsule demi couture line. The show, which will be held at Alberta Ferretti’s Milan headquarters at Via Donizetti 48, will be divided into two halves: during the first half of the show, the pre collection will be presented and this will be followed, in the second half, by a demi couture collection, labelled Alberta Ferretti Limited Edition.  The demi couture collection is comprised of special dresses which create a collection that will be worn by a cast of young celebrities, fashion icons and IT girl considered internationally as the Best Dressed women of the moment.  Between them: the English fashion editor Julia Sarr Jamois, the  English model daughter of Annie Lennox Tali Lennox, the model and singer sister of Beyoncé Solange Knowles, the young amerincan model Sarah Margaret Qualley daughter of Andie MacDowell, the English IT girl niece of Daphne Guinness Mary Charteris, the blogger Oroma Elewa, Amber Le Bon model and daughter of Simon Le Bon, the Norvegian fashion blogger Hanneli Mustaparta, the French actress Anais Demoustier, the English blogger and photographer Candice Lake, the American jewellery designer Zani Gugelmann, French model Audrey Marnay, French actress Mylene Jampanoi, the Italian IT girl Nathalie Dompe, the Indian actress Kanika Kapoor and the English model and socialite Florence Brudenell-Bruce. This show will mark the first occasion that a designer will hold a runway show in Milan to present a pre collection. The idea to present Alberta Ferretti Limited Edition came from the success of the “special event” held at Pitti Immagine last January and, as last season, Alberta Ferretti decided to bind this initiative to the Jordan River Foundation.

“I wanted to show strength and energy in deciding to present the pre fall collection in a runway show along with a demi couture one which is dedicated to all women.  Special women to whom I have an affinity will be on the catwalk to show my special capsule collection and once again we will be linked to a charitable association”.
